ABOUT US
Lydfield Construction Ltd. is an established and experienced groundwork contractor based in the Southampton area. Originally set up in April 1989, the company was incorporated in March 1993 and has successfully worked for many main contractors and project managers in the southern region.
Our experience in groundwork is far ranging, including housing and associated infrastructures, office developments, factory units, schools, hospitals, listed buildings and large country estates. We have also experience in equestrian buildings and ménages.
We pride ourselves in a high standard of workmanship; and are used to working to tight contract deadlines. Good liaison with surveyors and onsite staff has led to long working relationships with our clients. Many of our employed foremen and ground worker’s have been with us for many years and have built up a wealth of experience. We have a good health and safety record, which is underlined by our specialist support company. Training for our workers, backed by the CITB, is always ongoing.
We have completed contracts across the south of England, including the outskirts of London, and along the coast from Dorchester in the west to Chichester in the East. Our projects vary in size from providing labour only, to labour, plant and material contracts up to £750,000.
The company moved offices in June 2008 and are keen to expand our workload.
